This cave is the sacred site where Mahavatar Babaji is believed to have revealed Kriya Yoga to Lahiri Mahasaya in 1861, as documented by Paramahansa Yogananda in Autobiography of a Yogi. The area is alive with spiritual energy and is said to still be blessed by the divine presence of Babaji. The Dunagiri region has also hosted saints like Haidakhan Baba, Neem Karoli Baba, making it a beacon for seekers across traditions. After meditation and quiet reflection, return to Ranikhet for the night.
